The Air Jordan AJKO goes deep in to the Air Jordan catalog -- perhaps a bit too deep for the younger generation to truly appreciate the shoe. But despite a twenty-five year absence, the 2010 Retro releases did rather well and was considered by the Sneaker News staff to be one of the best releases of that year. In just a few short weeks, Jordan Brand will hit us with some more AJKOs -- one of which is the return of the OG Black/Red colorway; of course, this OG pair we spotted has been put through the test of time and wear, but it’s still neat to see a shoe nearly three decades old still standing tall! Bait x Asics GT-II “Rings” Pack – Yellow

The fifth and final installment of the Bait x Asics “Rings” Pack is yet another colorway of the Asics GT-II. This time the sneaker is given a yellow suede build trimmed in tonal 3M with hits of the material also in black. Blue accents pep up the laces and outsole a bit to make this runner hard to miss. This and the rest of the exclusive Asics colorways from the pack will be available at Bait in June.

New Balance 576 ‘Flimby Factory 30th Anniversary’

New Balance is known for appending acronyms to the end of their numbered releases to provide unique identifiers, and while most of those (especially the in-house designs) reflect the colors in use, a select few have extra letters to denote details about its special makeup. That holds true for the Flimby Factory 30th Anniversary Pack, a trio of New Balance 576s crafted by longtime employees of NB’s Flimby, UK factory. Andy Mandle chose charcoal and red with a tartan sockliner, Billy Edgar goes earthy and opts for a two-tone zig-zag on the inside and Roy Bell rounds out the group with a chilly grey and blue suede design lined with corduroy. All of them have ’30 Years of Manufacture in the U.K. 1982-2012′ tags to drive home the theme, and you’ll find them available this August at shops like Overkill, who’re pre-selling theirs today.

adidas Originals Tischtennis ‘Olympic Pack’

You might not know this, what with all their attention paid to the youngest-ever NBA MVP, a stunning MTV video starlet and the most flamboyant guest designer doing it today, but adidas has a sincere interest in the sport of table tennis. Three Stripes to this day makes among the world’s very best ping-pong sneakers and paddles (or ‘blades’, as they’re more commonly called by those in the know), and this latest drop from the Originals division is a subtle reminder they’ve been at this for decades. The adidas Originals Tischtennis ‘Olympic Pack’ features Union Jack pennants on the lateral heels, but the more intriguing embroidery might be the brown Stripes that divide the white pair’s side panels.
